Who are you?

First Time Student

Students who have never attended any post-secondary educational institution.

Transfer Student

Students who attended a post-secondary institution but did not complete an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science or Bachelor's degree.

International Student

Students who are not U.S. citizens or Permanent Residents , and either already have a visa or need an F-1 student visa.

Transient Student

Students who are currently enrolled at another post-secondary institution, wishing to take courses that will be transferred back to their current institution.

Dual Enrollment Student

Students in 11th or 12th grade, taking high school or college level classes at Santa Fe College.

Previous Degree Student

Students who have an A.A., Bachelor's, Graduate or Professional degree from an accredited college or university, not seeking a degree at Santa Fe.

The Office of Admissions is open from 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on Fridays. Please feel free to walk in!

Santa Fe College offers more than 90 Certificate and Associate's Degree programs, 7 Bachelor's Degree programs, and sends more transfer students to UF than any other college. SF's graduation rate ranks first among Florida public colleges, and SF has been awarded the prestigious Aspen award for being NUMBER 1 in the nation!

The deadline for Spring B 2017 applications is Friday, March 3, 2017. Applications submitted after March 3rd will be considered for Summer 2017. The deadline for Summer and Summer A 2017 applications is Friday, May 5, 2017. Applications submitted after May 5, 2017 will be considered for Summer B 2017.

All residency documents, test scores, and final, official high school transcripts for Spring B 2017 should be submitted to the Office of Admissions before Friday, February 24, 2017 to ensure ample time for processing before the first day of class. Admissions documents will be processed on a first-come, first served basis.

All petitions for waivers and exemptions must be submitted by the first day of the term in order to be considered for that term.


IMPORTANT FOR ALL Freshmen and Transfer Students: Remember that you MUST submit your final, official high school transcripts (stating graduation date) BEFORE continuing in the advisement and registration process!!

  • Application Priority Date for Spring classes: December 1
  • Application Priority Date for Fall classes: August 1
  • Application Priority Date for Summer classes: April 1

Students may apply after the priority dates listed; however, it is not guaranteed that all of the steps in the Admission/Registration process will be complete in time to register for classes for the desired term.
